St. George's Church, Everton - A Beacon of Faith
"Living & loving like Jesus"

In 1814 the wealthy merchants in Everton overlooking Liverpool opened their new church. It was built on the highest point of the city and surrounded by the mansions of the rich. Never before had a church been built using an entirely  pre-fabricated iron framework. Everton has changed dramatically since 1814 but St. George's remains serving the community as an active place of worship to the glory of God

OUR VALUES.............

a)  Sharing welcome - We aim to be a church which welcomes everyone who comes in; but, more than that, we want to reach out into the community, extending God’s welcome to everyone we meet, and offering our friendship to them.

b)    Sharing love - We aim to be a church which has love at its core. Our Christian faith is expressed in our love of God and in our knowledge of his love for us. We want to share God’s love with the people around us, and we want to show that love in all of our relationships.
Our values...

c) Sharing worship  - We aim to be a church which engages in meaningful and passionate worship of God through the whole of our lives. We love to meet with God in worship through prayer, the Bible and song. We believe that when we encounter God we are changed.
